HAGGLERS CORNER WEDDING
KAT AND IAIN
IF YOU’RE PLANNING A HAGGLERS CORNER WEDDING IN SHEFFIELD, YOU’LL LOVE THIS!
Kat and Iain got married at Channing Hall Upper Chapel, which is designed and built in 1881, the interior of the hall is in the Italianate style, complete with large arched windows and a high vaulted ceiling. It was one of the most fun weddings I’ve shot and the sun shone all day long!
The ceremony was a humanist service in a stunning chapel. During the ceremony they incorporated the tradition of hand fasting with the Red String of Fate. It was so unique and brilliant along with the bride and groom drinking sake, three times each from three different cups called sakazuki.
They decorated the area with huge balloons and streamers, which I loved. The reception was at the very unique Hagglers Corner at Hagglers Corner – I love this venue because it is so unique and urban and cool and chic. Weddings at Hagglers Corner are amazing, because the food is absolutely amazing.
Why choose a Hagglers Corner Wedding
Hagglers Corner has a really vibrant atmosphere, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Sheffield. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there is a graffiti wall that’s perfect for photos.
The couple had live music in the afternoon, and live music in the evening. For dinner they had a buffet with not only a pork pie cake but also a proper cheese cake – the type with Wensleydale. The first dance involved the couple getting on the dance floor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with fireworks.
Kat wore a 50s dress and Iain wore a navy suit and they both look very stylish.
The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry really intrigued me. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were so fun.
